Concepçoes e valores aplicados ao patrimônio industrial brasileriro : o caso de estação e conjunto ferroviário de Mairinque / Rafaela Rogato Rondon Silva, Eduardo Romero de Oliveira

Nossa pesquisa traz resultados do mestrado em desenvolvimento (PPARQ-FAAC/ UNESP, Brasil), por meio da análise do conjunto ferroviário existente no espaço urbano de Mairinque. Esse conjunto, originalmente formado em 1890 pela Companhia Estrada de Ferro Sorocabana (São Paulo), engloba estruturas diversas relacionadas à atividade ferroviária (oficinas, armazém, estação de passageiros e vila operária). Nossa apresentação visa considerar os processos de proteção legal, no âmbito nacional e estadual brasileiro, voltados a estação ferroviária de Mairinque, a fim de demonstrar, através deles, a evolução do conceito de preservação do patrimônio cultural e do patrimônio industrial e ferroviário. Para isso, a metodologia de trabalho envolve pesquisa documental e bibliográfica, com análise dos processos de tombamento do CONDEPHAAT e IPHAN (órgãos responsáveis pela preservação da estação). Assim, procuramos entender os valores que determinaram os tombamentos da estação e a definição dos entornos de proteção, além de identificar a interferência desses tombamentos na permanência dos imóveis e na noção de articulação das primeiras estruturas ferroviárias que ainda marcam a área central da cidade. Buscando, dessa forma, atingir o objetivo geral da pesquisa de mestrado que consiste em compreender a articulação entre os bens ferroviários de Mairinque, a fim de estabelecer diretrizes preservacionistas adequadas à realidade desse patrimônio e das estruturas ferroviárias locais = Our research brings results of the master degree in development (PPARQ-FAAC/ UNESP, Brazil), through the analysis of the existing railway complex in the urban space of Mairinque. The Railway complex of Mairinque, originally formed in 1890 by the Company Estrada de Ferro Sorocabana (São Paulo), includes several structures related to railway activity (workshops, warehouses, passenger station and workers' village). Our presentation aims to consider the processes of legal protection, in the Brazil's nacional and state level, directed to the Mairinque’s railway station in order to show, through them, the evolution of the concept of cultural heritage preservation and industrial railway heritage. Therefore, the work methodology involves documentary and bibliographic research, with analysis of landmarking processes from CONDEPHAAT and IPHAN (agencies responsible for maintaining the railway station). Lastly we try to understand the values that determined the landmarking of the station and the definition of the protective surroundings, besides identify interference of that landmarking in the property permanency and in the notion of articulation of the first railway structures that still mark the central area of the city. Seeking thus achieve the overall objective of this master degree research which is to understand the relationship between the railway assets of Mairinque, in order to establish preservationist guidelines appropriate to the reality of this heritage and the local railway infrastructure.
